Description
The Bouton Anser Safety Glasses with Black Frame and IR 3.0 Lens combine sporty styling with lightweight, all-day comfort. The semi-rimless frame features soft rubber nose pads and bayonet temples with flexible rubber tips for a comfortable fit, while the wraparound, 9-base curve lens provides coverage.
The IR 3.0 lens helps protect against harmful UV and infrared radiation in welding, brazing, cutting, and soldering environments where a shade 3 filter is appropriate. A clear, scratch-resistant coating on both sides of the lens helps resist surface scratches. An included adjustable neck cord keeps the glasses close at hand between tasks.

Important Lens Use Information
Not for arc welding. Welding safety glasses and goggles using shade 5 filters or lighter are not intended for arc welding, which requires a darker lens found in welding helmets. OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.252 lists the minimum lens shade requirements for a variety of welding operations.
Welding protection with IR Green shades, Cobalt, or other very dark lenses is NOT to be worn while operating moving vehicles, bicycles or any such apparatus, particularly on the road, as these shades can significantly impair one's ability to see traffic signals adequately or accurately.
