Tough lenses, extended-length arms, and integrated Quick-Latch side shields deliver practical protection with a distinctive, lens-matched look. From indoor tasks to outdoor projects, the redesigned frame helps wearers stay focused without constantly readjusting their eyewear.
Secure Fit and Everyday Comfort
Rubberized Hytrel® inserts in the arms and nose bridge provide grip where the frame contacts the face, helping the glasses stay in place. Extended-length performance arms and beveled emblems complete the updated design.

Quick-Latch Side Shields
The patented Quick-Latch system makes side-shield installation and removal simple with an integrated lever. The shields provide lateral protection from debris and help block unwanted peripheral light. A translucent base maintains peripheral vision, while a lens-matched coating creates a coordinated appearance.
Protection requirement: The glasses meet ANSI Z87+ standards with the side shields installed. Side shields must remain installed for this level of protection.
Optional Photochromic Lenses
The photochromic lens option adapts from clear to a darker tint as conditions change, with a stated transition time of under 30 seconds depending on the environment. Visible light transmission (VLT) ranges from 75% in the clear state to 17% in the darkened state, making this option useful for wearers moving between indoor and outdoor settings.
Photochromic lens note: These lenses do not become as dark as Heat Wave's standard black lenses.
